Tears stream down the face of 19-year-old Rct. Quadir King-Holder, of Platoon 3065, Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, during the Eagle, Globe and Anchor Ceremony at the Iwo Jima flag raising statue on Parris Island, S.C., on Sept. 1, 2012. The recruits receive their emblems after completing the 54-hour Crucible. Kilo Company graduated Sept. 7, 2012.
