LtCol Jeffcoat was born on 14 March 1985, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate degree at Millersville University of Pennsylvania, receiving a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology/Criminology. Post graduation, LtCol Jeffcoat attended the Officer Candidate Course in Quantico, Virginia and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 2008. Following commissioning, Second Lieutenant Jeffcoat attended The Basic School and Infantry Officers Course (IOC).
Post IOC, Second Lieutenant Jeffcoat reported to 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina where he would serve as a Rifle Platoon Commander, Company Executive Officer, and Company Commander. While with 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines Lieutenant Jeffcoat deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan in 2010 and 2011.
In 2012, Captain Jeffcoat reported to the Wounded Warrior Regiment, in Quantico, Virginia and would serve as the Officer-in-Charge, Wounded Warrior Operations Center, and Future Operations Officer. During his tour with the Wounded Warrior Regiment, Captain Jeffcoat was reassigned from the Regimental Headquarters to Wounded Warrior Battalion-East, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Detachment to serve as the Charlie Company Commander and Detachment Operations Officer.
In 2015, Captain Jeffcoat reported to 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, Camp Pendleton, California. Throughout this tour, he would serve as the Battalion Assistant Operations Officer, Headquarters and Service Company Commander and Weapons Company Commander. Captain Jeffcoat deployed twice to the INDOPACOM AOR in support of Unit Deployment Program-West and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. After returning to Camp Pendleton, Major Jeffcoat was assigned to the 1st Marine Division Headquarters where he would serve as the Division’s Assistant Training Officer.
In 2018, Major Jeffcoat reported to the Marine Corps Security Force Regiment and would serve as the Charlie Company, Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team (FAST) Commander and the Regimental Assistant Operations Officer.
In 2021, Major Jeffcoat reported to Headquarters Company, Sixth Marine Regiment and served as the Future Operations Officer. In February 2022, following his tour as the Future Operations Officer, Major Jeffcoat was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines as the Battalion Executive Officer. As the Battalion Executive Officer, he deployed again to the INDOPACOM AOR in support of the Unit Deployment Program-East in Okinawa, Japan.
In 2023, LtCol Jeffcoat was assigned to Headquarters Marine Corps, Programs & Resources. While assigned to Programs & Resources, LtCol Jeffcoat served as the Marine Corps’ Program Development Officer (Prince of the POM).
LtCol Jeffcoat’s personal awards include the Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal w/ gold star, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal w/ three gold stars, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal w/ Combat Distinguishing Device and Combat Action Ribbon.
