H&S Battalion Sections
The mission of Marine Corps Recruit Depot Communication Strategy and Operations (CommStrat) is to provide communication strategies and products designed to build understanding, credibility, trust, and mutually beneficial relationships with all audiences.
Food service Marines are tasked with overseeing the organization and planning end of the Marine Corps kitchen operations, which includes budgeting and coordinating the food service and subsistence program as well as all the logistics involved.
The Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island Finance Office reviews payments processing of master pay accounts, and the fiscal accounting supporting the transactions. Finance technicians also adjudicate, review, and oversee payment of vouchers of reimbursement for official travel.
The Parris Island Marine Band provides musical support for ceremonies,functions, and other occasions aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, and within the Beaufort Tri-Command and Southeast Region; supports the total force recruiting mission within the Eastern Recruiting Region; and performs community relations and public outreach events across the United States in order to improve morale, inspire, motivate, and instill a sense of pride and patriotism, and to re-affirm our core values, customs, and traditions, and best represent the United States Marine Corps.
The mission of the IPAC is to provide personnel administrative support and services to Commanders, Marines, Sailors and family members by ensuring military personnel records and pay accounts are accurate and properly maintained for preparing individuals for worldwide deployment with the operating forces.
The armory mission is to service, maintain, issue, and recover all Depot ordnance assets and associated equipment as well as provide direct support to all live-fire ranges.
The Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island Supply Section provides logistical and administrative support to personnel assigned to the depot in the most proficient and professional manner. This support includes, but is not limited to: procurement of consumables, property accountability, equipment acceptance, delivery, disposal, and or redistribution.
Legal Services Support Team Parris Island houses all legal activities for Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and the Eastern Recruiting Region. It also provides military justice, defense and legal assistance functions to Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort. The different sections of the LSST provide a variety of legal services to the commands, service members and, in some cases, family members and retirees.
Headquarters and Service Battalion

Headquarters and Service Battalion is the parent command for the personnel who provide continuous
support to the depot and its subordinate commands in order to accomplish the depot’s mission of "Making Marines."

The battalion is comprised Headquarters Company and Service Company.
The companies and their respective sections provide critical support to depot operations, recruit training and recruiting operations.
