Biography

Assistant Director, Drill Instructor School
Capt. Brooke C. Peregrin

Captain Brooke C. Peregrin was born on 4 August 1993 in Concord, NH. She moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, where she now calls home, at the age of three with her mother and sister. She graduated from Edmond Santa Fe High School, Edmond, OK, in May 2011. 

She attended the University of Oklahoma, where she studied Environmental Science and received a Bachelor of Science in December 2015.

Upon graduation, she worked as an Executive Assistant at a law firm in Oklahoma City. In June 2017 she moved to Washington, DC to work for a Production and Communications company. While in DC she decided to apply to be selected to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Quantico, VA and was selected for the Fall 2019 class.

In September 2019, she underwent Commissioning Program Training at OCS, Alpha Company, Quantico, Virginia. On 16 November 2019, she was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.

In June 202, she graduated from The Basic School, Quantico, VA and received follow-on orders to Marine Helicopter Squadron One, where she participated in On-the-Job-Training in anticipation of attending Aircraft Maintenance Officer Course.

In January 2021, Second Lieutenant Peregrin executed orders to Aircraft Maintenance Officer Course, Milton, Florida, where she graduated as Honor Grad. Upon graduation of formal schooling, she then executed orders to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 24.

In April 2021, Second Lieutenant Peregrin reported to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 363 as the Assistant Aircraft Maintenance Officer and Material Control Officer. She deployed in support of Marine Rotational Force Darwin 2021 from April 2021 to October 2021 and was promoted to First Lieutenant in November 2021. In July 2022, she assumed the duties of the Assistant Aircraft Maintenance Officer, Material Control Officer, and Material Maintenance Control Officer for Rim of the Pacific Exercise 2022.

In November 2022, First Lieutenant Peregrin executed orders to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 24 (MALS-24) to assume the duties of the Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS) Division Officer in Charge. In March 2023, she assumed the additional duties of interim Assistant Aircraft Maintenance Officer.

In October 2023, First Lieutenant Peregrin graduated from Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course 1-24 and received the 6077 additional military occupational specialty designator. She returned to MALS-24 in November 2023 to carry out her duties as the ALSS Division Officer in Charge and was promoted to Captain in February 2024.

In June 2024, Captain Peregrin reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and was assigned as Lead Series Commander, November Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion. She completed three cycles as Lead Series Commander.

In May 2025, Captain Peregrin assumed the duties of Company Commander, Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion. She completed three cycles as the Company Commander.

In June 2026, Captain Peregrin was selected to assume the duties of the Assistant Director of Drill Instructor School – East.

Captain Peregrin’s personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (1) and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (1).
