Sigrid Rivera, 4th Recruit Training Battalion Sergeant Major, open a time capsule buried ten years earlier on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island S.C., May 5, 2022. The time capsule was buried on the 69th anniversary of women permanently serving in the Marine Corps on February 13, 2012 by the command deck of 4th RTBN and the Women Marines Association.
