Visits and Group Tours
Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island IS NOW OPEN to the public. There will be no restrictions on the amount of people attending recruit training graduations or Family Day activities.
Groups visiting Parris Island who wish an organized, escorted tour must submit a request at least 60 days prior to arriving. Group tours will be granted on a case-by-case basis and is contingent on factors such as manpower and time, as well as government regulations. Visits are typically limited to Mondays through Fridays.
Eligible groups include JROTC, ROTC, reunion groups, community organizations, veterans organizations, active duty military groups/units, etc. Groups of family and friends attending Family Day and graduation should not submit a request and refer
here

Miscellaneous Information Regarding Group Tours
Transportation
Transportation to, from and around Parris Island must be provided by the group. Military vehicles will not be authorized. All vehicle operators must be licensed and possess registration and proof on insurance for their vehicles.
Lodging
The use of military barracks or other military buildings for overnight lodging is only available to ROTC, JROTC and Young Marines groups and is granted on a space-available basis. The Parris Island Visits Section is not responsible for any other lodging. Other accommodations may be available and coordinated at one of our
lodging facilities
.
Meals
Groups may request to eat at most base dining facilities, including a mess hall. Options and costs will be coordinated by the group and Parris Island after the request form is submitted.
For all ROTC/JROTC groups, mess hall meals and Meals, Ready-to-Eat are provided to students at no cost. Chaperones/instructors/staff will pay the full government meal rate (Breakfast $2.55; Lunch $4.65; Dinner $4.65. Weekend meals are $5.35 mornings; $6.55 evenings).
For all Young Marines groups, mess hall meals and Meals, Ready-to-Eat are provided to children at the reduced government meal rate (Breakfast $2.15; Lunch $4.00; Dinner $4.00). Chaperones/instructors/staff will pay the full government meal rate (Breakfast $2.55; Lunch $4.65; Dinner $4.65). To inquire about discounted meal rates, call 843-228-3570.
