Major Anliker is a native of Westfield Indiana, and a graduate from Purdue University. He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in March 2011 after completing the 10 week OCC Officer Candidate School. Major Anliker attended The Basic School in 2011 and was assigned the Logistics Officer MOS.
Upon completion of Logistics Officer Course in 2011, Major Anliker was assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 3, 3d Marine Logistics Group, Kaneohe Bay, HI from February 2012 to July 2015. He served as the Assistant Logistics Officer, Maintenance Management Officer, Maintenance Operations Officer, and Support Company Executive Officer. While assigned to CLB-3 Major Anliker participated in several large scale training exercise including RIMPAC, Freedom Banner, and Balikatan.
In July 2015, Major Anliker took command of Combat Logistics Company 21, 2d Marine Logistics Group, MCAS Cherry Point, NC. As the Company Commander of a standalone company, he was responsible for the intermediate level supply and maintenance support for 2d Marine Air Wing units aboard MCAS Cherry Point. The Company was also responsible for the Arial Port of Embarkation, which supported all II MEF units deploying or retrograding on the east coast. In 2017 Major Anliker, deployed to Iraq in support of Operations Inherent Resolve, as a Watch Officer in the Combined Joint Operations Center Baghdad. After a successful deployment he resumed command of CLC-21 until April of 2018, he was then assigned to 2d Supply Battalion, 2d Marine Logistics Group, Camp Lejeune, NC. He served as the Operations Officer and Headquarters Company Commander until Dec 2018.
Major Anliker was selected on the 2018 CCLEB to attend the Army Logistics Career Captain’s Course at Fort Lee, VA. As only one of four Marines in the course he graduated as an honor grad out of a class of 113 students.
In June 2019, Major Anliker received order to Headquarters and Service Battalion, MCRD Parris Island, SC. Serving as the Operations Officer, he was a vital planner for Task Force Albany which served as the ADVON for the depot evacuation to MCLB Albany during hurricane Dorian. In responds to the COVID 19 pandemic, Major Anliker again was the lead planner for Task Force Commitment to establish staging operations at Parris Island, The Citadel Military Academy, and Atlanta Ga. Staging operations were vital part of preventing the spread of the virus from infecting the entry level training pipeline.
In Nov 2020, Major Anliker was assumed the duties as the Executive Officer for Third Recruit Training Battalion. In June 2021, Major Anliker was selected to serve in his current assignment as the Director of Drill Instructor School.
Major Anliker’s personal decorations include the Joint Service Accommodation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. He is married to the former Erin Worley and they have one daughter Evelyn.
