Human Resources

Welcome to the Civilian Human Resources Office – SE, Beaufort Satellite Office.  We provide Human Resource Management services to Marine Corp Recruit Depot, Parris Island and Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort.

Mission Statement:

The Civilian Human Resources Office -Southeast (CHRO-SE), in support of designated serviced Commands, delivers comprehensive Human Resources Management (HRM) services for appropriated fund civilian personnel by providing front-line HRM programs and services supported through regionalized and automated Human Resources (HR) processes.

CHRO-SE, in coordination with HQMC and DON OCHR, supports critical HR needs in all aspects of civilian personnel management by providing information, technical advice, guidance, assistance, and services in the following HRM disciplines: recruitment, placement, position management, classification advisement, employee benefits, employee relations, employee development, labor relations, performance management, awards, civilian employee assistance, work/life programs, and more.

CHRO-SE provides the critical services needed to develop, motivate, and maintain civilian HR necessary to ensure successful accomplishment of serviced Commands' missions.

Because we are continually re-examining and improving our processes in order to achieve best practices in Human Resources Management, we invite you to make suggestions on how we may improve our services by emailing us at PARR_SMB_HRO@usmc.mil

Injury Compensation
All civilian employees are covered under The Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA). Employees are provided compensation benefits for disability due to personal injury sustained while in the performance of duty or due to employment-related disease. The FECA also provides for the payment of benefits to dependents if the injury or disease causes the employee's death.
