AMERESCO will test the reverse power on the electrical distribution system aboard the depot from 2 to 4 p.m. on Jan. 6.

 

No electrical outage is expected during the test. However, the risk of an outage increases during the test and more frequent computer saves of working documents is recommended. In the event of an unplanned outage, crews are on stand-by to quickly respond and restore power.

 

The ability to reverse power on the electrical distribution system will enable the depot to maintain power when Dominion Energy loses or has to cut power to the installation.
