Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island has begun base hardening measures today in anticipation of destructive weather expected to impact the local area next week.
Due to the forecasted track of Tropical Storm Imelda, depot leadership has begun planning for potential impacts to the base that could begin as early as Monday. While no decisions have been made at this time to modify training or any Family Day/Graduation activities, our staff will continue to meet over the weekend and monitor the storm.
