Due to current winter weather watches and advisories, MCRD Parris Island will observe the following changes to this week’s schedule of events:

Wednesday, 3 Jan 2018: MCRD Parris Island will only be open to essential personnel. Non-essential personnel will return to work no earlier than 9 a.m., on Thursday, 4 January 2018. All MCCS functions will be closed and will re-open at 9 a.m., on Thursday, 4 Jan 2018. All Depot tours and briefs scheduled for Fox Company and Oscar Company families have been cancelled.

Thursday, 4 January 2018: Fox Company and Oscar Company’s Motivational Run has been cancelled and the Family Day Ceremony has been moved from 9 a.m., to 11:30 a.m. Due to limited seating inside the All Weather Training Facility, the Depot Theater will serve as overflow seating and will broadcast a live video feed of the Family Day Ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Parking for Family Day will be at the Marine Corps Exchange, the Depot Theater, and the outdoor pool parking lot. Families should follow the posted signs for directions to the appropriate parking areas. Transportation will be provided from each parking location to the All Weather Training Facility.

Friday, 5 January 2018: The Morning Colors Ceremony has been cancelled. Graduation will take place at 9 a.m., inside the All Weather Training Facility.  Due to limited seating inside the All Weather Training Facility, the Depot Theater will serve as overflow seating and will broadcast a live video feed of the Graduation Ceremony at 9 a.m.  Additional information regarding parking for Graduation will be posted on Thursday, 4 January 2018.

We ask that all families and depot personnel use caution while traveling and follow all traffic signs and directions of security personnel.
